Baki: Son of Ogre Anime Strikes Netflix Worldwide This Fall

There's nothing quite like the beefy Baki the Grappler manga by Keisuke Itagaki, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. In addition to a bunch of different activities to mark the occasion, the latest anime adaptation is set to premiere on Netflix around the world. While we wait for Baki: Son of Ogre to debut this fall, you can see a new Japanese trailer and key visual below.

The manga's editorial department is celebrating the big anniversary with a special creative contest. Submissions ranging from illustrations to cosplay, photos, and beyond will be judged by Baki creator Keisuke Itagaki himself, and prizes consist of signed items.
