Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour Event to Deliver Some True March Madness
Bandai Namco has something big cooking for its line of Dragon Ball video games next month. Dragon Ball FighterZ, the Dragon Ball Super Card Game, and the Dragon Ball Legends app are fusing together for one intense online event, with the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour broadcast set to go live with some heated competition worldwide on Saturday, March 6.
While there's no exact time to mark on our calendars yet, those who tune in can look forward to the top competitors from around the world facing off in each category. For Dragon Ball FighterZ, the top four players from five different regions—including Japan, France, US West Coast, US East Coast, and Spain—will be getting in on the action. The Dragon Ball Super Card Game competition will feature the champions for each region of the 2019 tournament, and the Dragon Ball Legends showdown will have pro players from the tournament that took place two years ago facing off against one another.
Watching the pros in action doesn't have to be a passive experience. The Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour will have its own Online Arena Lobby, so viewers can choose their own avatars and emote functions to interact with participants.
Finally, there's a Mosaic Art Campaign that has Bandai Namco calling upon fans to share screenshots and pics of their favorite Dragon Ball game memories. You can participate between now and February 8 on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DBGameMoment, and if you do so you'll want to squint at the final mosaic piece of art to see if your image made the cut.
While we wait for it all to go down, you can keep up with the event via the official site, as well as the Twitter and Instagram accounts.
