Experience the World of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in Pop-Up Mall Theme Park
Beyond all the blood feuds and battling Stands, who wouldn't want to live in the world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? Okay, stick with us here, because fans in Japan will get the opportunity to do so when a pop-up theme park called JOJO WORLD in YOKOHAMA opens at the Yokohama World Porters mall this March.
The event is scheduled to run from March 5 to May 9, and will include the type of mini-games you'd only get from Hirohiko Araki's legendary JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. From "Memetaa! Hamon Roulette" to "Ancient Roman Chariot Death Match Ball Lottery," we can't think of a better way to risk it all than with a pop-up JoJo's death game at a mall.
While these won't be actual life or death scenarios, they do sound like a lot of fun for folks who are big fans of the series. There's even an area called "Let's Go to the Manga Creator's House," where visitors can speak with Rohan Kishibe, as well as a game that will determine whether or not players are suited to join the Passione gang from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
In addition to the interactive games, the pop-up event will have plenty of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure merchandise, food, and beverages on hand for purchase, like these ribbon scarves and this lovely Hamon orange tea, for example.
Those of us outside of Japan may be unlikely to be able to visit JOJO WORLD in YOKOHAMA, but we can at least live vicariously through those lucky enough to do so.
