Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Anime Announces Delay

We're going to have to wait just a little longer to see how the anime adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote's Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation carries on. As announced on the official website, the second cours of the series has been hit with a delay that pushes it back from the planned July premiere to October 2021.

"Various circumstances" were cited as the reason for the delay. In its place, the first part of the season will be rebroadcast in Japan. The rest of us will just have to wait for the simulcast to continue when the show is back on the air with new episodes, but at least we have a new key visual to tide us over in the meantime.

Funimation has been streaming the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime as it airs. Here's the official synopsis:

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby. With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he's still a total pervert.
