TESLA NOTE Anime Adaptation Brings Spy Action to TV This Year
If you're looking to add some spy action to your watch list this year, anime production house Gambit has a project in the works just for you. Based on the manga series written by film producer Tadayoshi Kubo and Tiger & Bunny series composition writer Masafumi Nishida, with art by Kouta Sannomiya, the TESLA NOTE TV anime adaptation has been revealed for a 2021 debut.
The series follows Botan Negoro, who was trained as a ninja during his childhood and raised to be a top secret agent. Botan eventually teams up with the self-proclaimed number one secret agent, Kuruma, and takes on a mission with potentially calamitous consequences.
Michio Fukuda (Terraformars: Revenge) is on board as director alongside manga author Masafumi Nishida as series composition writer and Kaoru Wada (Inuyasha) on music.
Konomi Kohara and Tatsuhisa Suzuki lead the cast as Botan and Kuruma, respectively, with other cast members including Tomoaki Maeno as Ryunosuke Takamatsu, Junichi Suwabe as Mickey Miller, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Oliver Thornton.
