Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2 Announced
If you've been enjoying the next generation of Rumiko Takahashi's Inuyasha, you'll be delighted to learn that there's more Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon on the way. Following this weekend's airing of the final episode, a second season was officially unveiled along with a new key visual.
While there's currently no date for the continuation, the visual for the "second chapter" of the anime features Towa Higurashi, daughter of Sesshomaru and Rin from Inuyasha.
With VIZ Media owning the rights to the series, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon has been streaming on multiple services since its debut. Here's how Crunchyroll describes the series:
Set in feudal Japan, half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family. Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a demon slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.
Stay tuned for more on plans for the second season as they're announced!
