BORUTO Anime Lines Up New Opening and Ending Theme Artists

Some changes are on the way to the BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS anime, which currently has over 200 episodes under its shuriken-stuffed belt. According to the latest update on the official TV Tokyo website for the long-running series, new opening and ending theme songs are on the way soon.

This time the series is welcoming a pair of artists that have yet to provide theme songs for the BORUTO anime. First up is CHiCO with HoneyWorks on the OP, and episodes will close out with PELICAN FANCLUB on the ED.

Based on the manga of the same name, BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS has been running as a followup to Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series on TV Tokyo since April 2017. Crunchyroll streams the anime as it airs and describes it like so:

The life of the shinobi is beginning to change. Boruto Uzumaki, son of Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki, has enrolled in the Ninja Academy to learn the ways of the ninja. Now, as a series of mysterious events unfolds, Boruto’s story is about to begin!
