Goku Chows Down in the Hungriest S.H Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Toy Ever
There are plenty of Dragon Ball Z figures out there that celebrate the series' greatest battles. It's time to take a break from the brawls for a moment, though, instead opting to bust through the doors of an all-you-can-eat buffet like the Fat Boys. Goku is doing just that in one of the latest additions to Bandai Spirits' S.H. Figuarts line, which has everyone's favorite Saiyan packing on some much-needed pounds at the dinner table.
Some of Goku's best moments in the Dragon Ball Z anime happen when he's voraciously knocking back plate after plater after overstuffed bowl. This set captures one of those Hungry Man moments in all its glory, complete with miniature bowls of rice, fish, ramen, steamed buns, a roast pig, and more to complete the spread. There are also additional facial expressions and, of course, a table and chairs set to ensure Goku won't be eating on the floor (he totally would).
It's important to note that the full package—priced at ¥3,850 (about $36) after tax—comes with everything but the Goku figure. Those who pick it up can use the additional expressions and wrists on the Son Goku: A Saiyan Raised on Earth Figuarts toy, which is sold separately.
The hungriest Dragon Ball Z warrior across all of the universes will finally be fed when the set ships in July.
