Kageki Shojo!! Anime Reveals First Character Trailer!

The Kageki Shojo!! anime is on the way to bring Takarazuka dreams to the small screen and adapt the manga by Kumiko Saiki, and a date has officially been set for July 3. With the premiere just a little over a month away, the official Twitter account shared a brief new preview along with the very first character trailer.

First up, here's the 15-second spot:

The character trailer introduces Sarasa Watanabe, voiced by Sayaka Senbongi in the anime. This tall country girl has Takarazuka inspirations and serves as one of the anime's dual leads, and you can meet her in the video below.

Like the Takarazuka Revue, the young women who go to the Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts play all the parts of musical theater, be they female or male.
