Made in Abyss Anime to Return with Season 2 in 2022
If you're a fan of Akihito Tsukushi's Made in Abyss manga and its anime adaptation, you'll be delighted to learn that there's more on the way. The official website went up with the reveal that Made in Abyss season 2 is officially set to premiere in Japan sometime in 2022, and a new teaser visual is here along with the announcement.
There aren't too many details at the moment, but the full title of season 2 is Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ougonkyo. Check out the visual below while we wait for more info.
That's not all for Made in Abyss. There's also a game on the way from Spike Chunsoft, which has a 3D action-RPG based on the series lined up for release on PS4, Switch, and PC. In addition to following the story of the anime, there will be an original story by author Akihito Tsukushi, so look forward to diving into the deadly Abyss for yourself and, hopefully, making it back out to tell your tale another day.
Like season 2, the game—titled Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness—is also due out in 2022. Here are the first screens:
