The Slime Diaries Anime Reveals Opening Theme Artist

With the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime rolling along with its first half, it's easy to forget we have even more Slime anime to look forward to while we wait for the continuation later this year. Next up is the anime adaptation of The Slime Diaries spinoff, and the latest update is here to reveal the opening theme song artist.

When The Slime Diaries kicks off its run this April, it'll do so to the tune of the "Brand new diary" by Akane Kumada. The artist/voice talent previously performed theme songs for Chidori RSC and Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, and also voiced Ichiko Oda in the latter. Slime Diaries musician RON composed and arranged the song, featuring lyrics written by Takuma Terashima, who performed the first Slime OP and voiced a pre-reincarnation Rimuru.
