Sonny Boy is the New Anime From the Director of One Punch Man!
Shingo Natsume is the director of the hit anime One-Punch Man, along with Space Dandy. Now, Natsume has a new project in the works that looks pretty interesting. Conceived, written, and directed by Natsume himself, Sonny Boy is a TV anime about a group of students who find themselves trapped in another dimension only to discover that they have acquired unique abilities.
The concept may not sound all that original, but Sonny Boy has a unique and stylish look thanks to character designs by Hisashi Eguchi and animation from studio Madhouse, a team that helped deliver the classic 90's anime Perfect Blue. The trailer also has a pretty great sounding theme song in the form of "Shonen and Shojo" performed by Ging Nang BOYZ. Enjoy below!
