Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Sake Arrives in Japan
Bottoms up! A new sake collaboration between the Netflix anime Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 and the Japanese online liquor store Kurand has resulted in three bottles with original label art featuring Major Mokoto Kusanagi, Batou, and the iconic Tachikoma mech.
The original artwork for all three labels has been provided by illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov, who also did the character design for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
Each bottle has its own unique flavor profile:
Major Kusanagi’s sake has a strong taste of rice with a hint of aroma from special ginjo brewing techniques.
Batou’s brew boats a strong taste said to pair well with deeply seasoned dishes.
And finally, the Tachikoma sake skews towards a sweet and fruity taste.
