Shaman King Anime Reboot to Stream on Netflix in 2021
If you're wondering where you'll need to go to check out the new Shaman King anime, the answer is finally here. The revamped take on Hiroyuki Takei's manga is officially set to stream on Netflix sometime in 2021, and a new trailer and visual came through with all the latest info.
In addition to revealing Netflix plans, the second full promo introduces the anime's opening theme, "Soul salvation," sung by legendary voice actress Megumi Hayashibara (Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lina Inverse in Slayers). The ending theme was also revealed as another Hayashibara jam titled "#Bokunoyubisaki" ("#MyFingertips") The OP and ED will mark the singer's 43rd single when they hit stores in Japan on April 14.
Prior to Netflix, Shaman King's debut in Japan is lined up for April 1. Check out the new trailer and visual below while we wait.

Beyond this, other details announced include the fact that Yui Horie is the latest to reprise her role in the new anime. She'll be back as X-Laws leader Maiden Jeanne. On the fresh casting front, Yuichi Nakamura is taking over the role of X-Laws captain Marco Lasso, who was previously voiced by Akimitsu Takase in the first anime adaptation.
