The Devil is a Part-Timer! Gets a 2nd Season
Time flies in the world of anime, and lots of shows come and go, but you never know when one will step back into the spotlight. That’s now the case with The Devil is a Part-Timer!, a title from 2013 that is suddenly about to make a comeback with a second season.
Based on the light novel by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku, the return of The Devil is a Part-Timer! was a surprise announcement this weekend at the Kadokawa Light Novel Festival. While we don’t have date nor time to tune in just yet, there is a new key visual, a new trailer, and confirmation that the original voice cast is coming back to reprise their roles!
Here’s the official synopsis for Season One
Foiled by a hero when he’s inches away from conquering the world, the devil finds himself in modern-day Tokyo. With no real-world skills to speak of, the devil is forced to make ends meet flipping burgers at a fast food joint! To stall any further plans of world domination, the hero tracks the devil’s trail and takes on the lowly tasks of a telemarketer.
